CBI's plea to cancel the bail of YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's bail will come up for hearing at the Principal Court for CBI. There are 11 quid pro quo cases pending against Jagan Mohan Reddy. The CBI had sought cancellation of the bail for Jagan which was granted in September 2013, after 16 months of detention on the ground that one of the conditions for grant of bail -- that he will not directly or indirectly influence any of the witnesses in the 11 cases -- was violated.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will chair a United Nations Security Council meeting on North Korea to discuss how the body can combat Pyongyang's banned nuclear and missile programmes. North Korea has been under UN sanctions aimed at impeding the development of its nuclear and missile programs since 2006. The 15-member council has strengthened sanctions following each of North Korea's five nuclear tests.

Alliance Air will operate its regular Delhi-Shimla flights from today under the Regional Connectivity Scheme. The scheme was flagged off by Prime Minister on Thursday. Five airlines — Alliance Air, SpiceJet, Turbo Megha, Air Odisha and Air Deccan — are set to start operating on 128 routes this year under the scheme.

The new version of the classic Nokia 3310 is likely to be launched globally today. Unveiled at the 2017 Mobile World Congress, the reboot of the 3310 had set the tech world abuzz. Once the world's dominant phonemaker, Nokia, in 2014, sold its by-then ailing handset operations to Microsoft for $7billion. HMD, a new company led by ex-Nokia executives and backed by Chinese electronics giant Foxconn, took over the Nokia feature phones business in December and struck a licensing deal that gave it sole use of the Nokia brand on all phones and tablets for the next decade.
