Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) is going to expand its footprint in Haryana according to company Chairman S Ramesh. In a company statement, Ramesh said that district Karnal in Haryana has recently been awarded by Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to IGL for laying CGD network.
Addressing the shareholders at IGL's 18th AGM, Ramesh also said that IGL has drawn out plans to expand its area of operations by investing ₹600 crore in financial year 2017-2018.
IGL said that 81 new CNG stations had been added in FY17, taking the total number of CNG stations to 421. This helped the company to enhance its total installed compression capacity to 71 Lacs kg/day.
The company has already started supply of gas in Rewari and has also got permission from Haryana to lay CGD network in Gurugram in the area lying between west side of Sohna road and NH-8 of Gurugram, Ramesh added.
The shareholders have approved for stock split and a final dividend of 50 per cent in the Annual General Meeting in addition to 35 per cent interim dividend already declared and paid to the shareowners as recommended by the Board of Directors.
