SKS Microfinance’s standalone net profit more than doubled to ₹84.46 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2016, compared with ₹40.53 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The total income of the micro-lender rose 66.6 per cent to ₹330 crore ( ₹198 crore in the year-ago period).
For the full year 2015-16 (FY16), the net profit rose to ₹303 crore from ₹187 crore in the previous year. The income in FY16 came in at ₹1,169 crore (₹724 crore in FY15), the company informed the BSE.
On Wednesday, the SKS Micro scrip lost ₹2.95 per cent to close at ₹596.15 on the BSE.
