Swan Energy’s wholly-owned subsidiary has received approval from Gujarat Maritime Board for commencement of construction of an LNG terminal. Swan Energy said that its 100 per cent subsidiary — Swan LNG — has received approval from Gujarat Maritime Board to begin construction of a liquified natural gas terminal with ancillary structures for its floating storage and re-gasification project at Jafrabad, Gujarat. Swan LNG has executed an engineering, procurement and construction contract for marine and dredging works worth ₹2,115 crore with National Marine & Infrastructure India, to be completed in three years. NMIIPL has already started construction works. The stock of Swan Energy jumped 20 per cent at ₹201.2, a new 52-week high, on the NSE.
