PC Jeweller has informed the exchanges that its board of directors on Thursday recommended issue of bonus shares in the proportion of one equity share for every one existing equity share. The bonus shares will be issued by capitalising the securities premium reserves/free reserves of the company. The decision is subject to shareholder approval, the company added in the statement. Shares of PC Jeweller climbed 5.6 per cent at ₹452.60 on the NSE.
