Janmajai Rastogi, who solved the problem on hacker rank, bagged the first prize and won a cash award of Rs 50,000 at the Paysafe Hackathon held here on Saturday.
Nurendra Choudhary, who designed a solution for credit card fraud detection using Tensor Flow, received Rs 30,000 as second prize.
Rajat Singh and Sourav Sarangi won third and fourth prizes respectively and were given Rs 10,000 each.
Paysafe, which provides payment solutions to businesses, conducted the hackathon titled ‘#CrackTheCode’.
“This is part of our recruitment drive for our Hyderabad operations. We called for talented software engineers to design, develop and create futuristic fintech solutions in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytics,” Rohan Sahu, General Manager at Paysafe India, said here in a statement
“The idea behind the hackathon was to bring together the best of the programming talents to develop solutions in the fintech space,” he said.
The firm is planning to conduct similar hachathons in other parts of the country to continue the drive to hire the talent in this niche space.
“The hackathon is aligned with Paysafe’s focus on building the next generation of payment platforms and technology capabilities that connect businesses and consumers globally with frictionless and empowering solutions. We plan to scale up our operations in India with major focus on hiring this year,” he said.
