Harjeet Kumar Jaggi has taken over as the General Manager, Eastern Railway, Kolkata with effect from July 14. He also holds the charge of General Manager, Northeast Frontier Railway (Construction).
Jaggi, an officer of Indian Railway Service of Civil Engineering (IRSE) of 1978 batch, graduated from Delhi College of Engineering in 1978.
Prior to his role as the General Manager of Eastern Railway, he had also worked as General Manager – Northeast Frontier Railway, Guwahati.
During his career, Jaggi held several positions in the Railways Ministry. These include Secretary, Railway Board, CAO (Con), Northern Railway; Principal Chief Engineer, North-Western Railway; Divisional Railway Manager, Ambala; Chief Bridge Engineer, Northern Railway.
