NHAI has chosen Feedback Infra to prepare the detailed project report for the proposed Nagpur-Hyderabad-Bengaluru expressway, a distance of about 1,100 km.
This will be one of the longest expressways currently being planned in the world and is estimated to cost at least ₹35,000 crore. The proposed expressway will pass through Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
Feedback Infra’s Highways IndVe SBU will establish the technical, economic and financial viability of the project and prepare the DPR, covering rehabilitation and upgrading of the existing road configuration, if required. This is also the largest ever assignment for Highways IndVe. Vinayak Chatterjee, Chairman, Feedback Infra, said in a statement: “ It shows that Indian engineering firms are able to go up the scale from designing highways to designing such long and technically complex expressways. We are confident that our team’s work will result in this much-needed corridor taking shape sooner rather than later.”
Feedback Infra has been associated with other expressway projects as an advisory or in a project management role. The most recent one was the 302-km Agra to Lucknow Expressway and the 700-km Nagpur to Mumbai super expressway.
Privately held Feedback Infra is backed by its three shareholders – IDFC Bank Ltd, L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd, and HDFC Ltd.
