Preferred Hotel Group on Thursday announced its move from a multi-brand portfolio to one master brand, Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

The company does not own or manage any properties. It just represents independent luxury hotels in sales, marketing and distribution; creating an umbrella of global infrastructure.

The Group’s President and CEO Lindsey Ueberroth said: “In the age of social media, we are strengthening our offering by re-branding the company with a new logo and brand identity. All hotels which partner with us will now come under one master brand offering five distinct collections — Legend, LVX, Lifestyle, Connect, Preferred Residences. ” Globally, it has partnered with 650 hotels in 85 countries. It represents 30 hotels in India currently.

“We want to achieve 45 hotels in India and see growth coming from new emerging business cities such as Vijayawada, and new tourism cities such as Hampi, and the North-East,” said Saurabh Rai, Area Managing Director of South Asia and Middle East for Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Two new advertisement campaigns will also follow shortly, Ueberroth added.
