Bajaj Auto today reported an eight per cent increase in total sales in June at 3,31,317 units against 3,05,465 units in the same month of 2014.
Motorcycle sales during the month rose 10 per cent to 2,87,582 units from 2,62,202 units in June last year, the company said in a BSE filing.
Bajaj Auto’s commercial vehicles sales during the month stood at 43,735 units compared with 43,263 units in the year-ago period, a growth of 1 per cent.
Exports in June this year were at 1,56,074 units against 1,35,074 units a year earlier, up 16 per cent, the company said.
The company shares were trading up by 2.1 per cent at Rs 2,576.50 on the BSE.
