German luxury car manufacturer Audi on Thursday launched the new Audi A3 sedan priced starting at ₹30.50 lakh onwards for the petrol engine and ₹32.30 onwards for the diesel engine (all ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The successful model of the company now comes with efficient engines as well as newly designed headlights and taillights, Audi said.
The new Audi A3 sedan is available in two engine options - the 2.0 litre four-cylinder TDI engine (diesel) which produces a maximum power of 143hp, while the 1.4 litre TFSI COD (petrol) engine produces a maximum power of 150hp.
The new Audi A3 35 TFSI also comes with a new and intelligent engine and has cylinder on demand (COD) efficiency technology. The Audi A3 sedan has a fuel efficiency of 19.2 kmpl (A3 35 TFSI) and 20.38 kmpl (A3 35 TDI) as per ARAI certification, it said.
“The Audi A3 sedan since its launch in India in 2014 has highlighted Audi’s expertise in design, technology and driving dynamics in a compact form. These were reflected till then in the brand’s full-size-luxury vehicles,” Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India, said.
He further said, “2017 is the year for ‘Audi Reloaded’ and we will continue to offer the best of luxury mobility solution by introducing new models in exciting body types and new segments, on similar lines as with the Audi A3, Audi A3 Cabriolet and Audi Q3 in the recent years.”
